A new manual,"Managing The Grievance Procedure", that has previously only been utilized for those seeking the FPELRA Public Sector Professional Labor Relations Certification, is now available to all members.

The 40 page publication covers the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of the successful road for managing the grievance procedure and is a valuable training tool for labor relations professional and first-line supervisors.

Cynthia, prior to taking this position in Oregon, was the Director of Labor-Management Relations for the Florida Board of Regents and an FPELRA member.

A new collective bargaining manual, "How to Bargain For Management In the Public Sector: Strategies and Tactics" is now available. The 97 page manual, authored by Steve Rosenthal, a Past President of the Association and President of The Training Tree, is a revisal of the manual he wrote in the mid-90's.

The new manual updates material from the previous one and includes a number of additional checklists with a focus on collaborative bargaining. It also includes more graphics.
